Vita Industrial Launches VLN 2.0 on Hensel Phelps Site
roomfield, CO – April 24, 2025 – Vita Industrial, a leading provider of intelligent lifting systems and construction technology under Vita Inclinata, today launched the Vita Load Navigator 2.0 (VLN 2.0). The upgraded design and features boost safety, efficiency, performance, and precision for users, directly responding to client demands across the evolving global construction industry and offering a second VLN option. The system is already in use by Hensel Phelps, one of the nation’s top general contractors, on a project in California.
The VLN 2.0 brings a host of cutting-edge improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and precision control on your projects:
- Longer Operational Hours: The extended battery life nearly doubles the energy capacity of the VLN 1.0, enabling longer utilization between charge cycles.
- Flexible Rigging Angles: The redesigned Control Box supports a broad range of rigging angles, making it compatible with various lift types to meet your project’s unique requirements.
- Reliable Performance in Tough Spots: A completely re-engineered data fusion algorithm and sensor suite vastly improves precision and accuracy in GPS-challenged environments, such as urban centers.
- Easier Maintenance and Adjustments: The VLN 2.0’s simplified design streamlines configuration changes on the go.
“Our team has spent the past two years vigilantly listening to and collecting data from, our valued operators around the world to re-engineer the Vita Load Navigator from the ground up. Doubling down on the core precision and autonomy engine while doubling the power, our objective remains to provide lifting teams unprecedented control over their lifting operations,” said Derek Sikora, Chief Technology Officer at Vita Inclinata.
Hensel Phelps, the first customer to utilize VLN 2.0 in California, experienced firsthand the technology's transformative power. Key features that stood out were the convenience of charging while on or off, the enclosed forklift points at the bottom of the machine, and the increased battery life compared to the original VLN. The dual pendant system was also noted for its ease of use.
“The VLN 2.0 made my life a lot easier,” said James Morrow, crane operator for Maxim Crane Works, who operated the system on the Hensel Phelps site. “I could hold the load within one degree even while booming and swinging—something I’ve never been able to do before.”
Designed for the realities of construction, the VLN 2.0 helps professionals manage loads with greater precision, reducing risks and boosting productivity, even in the most challenging situations.
While the VLN 2.0 introduces new capabilities, the original VLN remains a trusted, high-performance solution for complex lifts across industries. Vita Inclinata will continue to fully support the VLN with service, training, and software updates, and it remains available to clients as part of its active rental fleet and sales inventory.
